With approval of the Legislature and the signature of the governor, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources will be split into three parts. Gov. Jim Justice House Bill 2006, separating the DHHR into three new departments – the Department of Human Services, the Department of Health and the Department of Health Facilities. The transition will take place over the course of the next year.
