Marshall University Director of Athletics Christian Spears announced this week that Kim Stephens will be the new women’s basketball coach. Stephens is a Parkersburg native and signed a seven-year deal and comes to Marshall from Division II Glenville State, where she led the Pioneers to a combined record of 191-24. Glenville State advanced to the NCAA Division II Final Four, going 33-3 on the season before falling in the national semifinals to top-ranked Ashland.
