Deputies asked for the public’s help in a theft investigation after a fishing boat and trailer that were stolen from a Kanawha County business. A blue, 20-foot Sport Craft brand fishing vessel was recovered thanks to a tip, and the search continues for the person who took it as it was parked behind the Up Da Holler Pizza restaurant on MacCorkle Avenue Southeast. The boat ended up at the Clendenin Park and Ride where it had been abandoned and stripped of the blue fish scene vinyl wrap, and it was later taken to a home in Clay County. The investigation is continuing.
