AEP worker dies during restoration work in Texas

An American Electric Power worker from Milton died in Texas this week while doing restoration work there after a storm. The lineman died Monday, in Marshall, Texas, according to AEP. Texas officials told the TV station KETK that the death is believed to be heat-related. The the 35-year-old lineman told co-workers he was feeling overheated and not well. He was then taken back to his hotel to cool off, rehydrate and get a medical evaluation. He began to feel better but his hotel rommate returned to find him unresponsive and pronounced dead shortly after that.
