Kanawha County Schools is once again hosting the Free Summer Meal Program, offering free meals to students 18 and under regardless of income. There are 32 sites total, serving meals weekdays through August 11. The meals are available through federal funding to help combat food insecurity. The organization Feeding America says 22 million children in the United States experience hunger every summer. For a list of distributions sites visit the Kanawha County Schools website.
