A man was injured after a tire on his ATV fell off in Randolph County. It happened on the Mabie side of Rich Mountain Road, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. An ATV dating back to the 1980s consisting of mostly non-original parts was found in a ditch when deputies arrived and the driver was flown to an area hospital with unknown injuries. Deputies said they believe the ATV’s left tire or axle failed as the man was driving down the road, causing him to crash.
