A Kanawha County man is facing charges following a domestic violence incident that led to to a woman’s son being injured by a knife. Court records show John Vance of Marmet has been charged with domestic violence and malicious wounding. A woman was found with abrasions and scratch marks around her. The picked up his mother and ran into a tree when backing out of the driveway and when he got out to assess the damage he was approached by Vance and was cut on his hand with a knife. Vance is being held at South Central Regional Jail.
