A man is in custody after a deadly shooting early Tuesday morning in Kanawha County. 29-year old George Yea of Trinity, North Carolina, was charged with first-degree murder, according to court records. Officers said Yea entered a home in the 1600 block of McClung Street about 2:15 a.m. and told witnesses he was going to shoot them. He is accused of waving the gun around before firing it once. 21-year old Tevin Jackson was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the neck. Investigators were able to get a description of the suspect from witnesses and Yea was taken into custody nearby shortly after.
