A public comment hearing is set for customers of a northern Fayette County utility that is accused of being “distressed” or “failing.” The West Virginia Public Service Commission has ordered a public hearing for customers of the Armstrong Public Service District on July 21. The hearing will take place at 9:30 a.m. at Gauley Bridge Town Hall. Eyewitness News reported that the area has experienced frequent water line breaks, boil water advisories and property damages. The commission will conduct an evidentiary hearing immediately after the public comment period.
