The Charleston Sternwheel Regatta is back in its second year after a 12-year hiatus. On the first day, Friday, Magic Island will host the Kids Zone starting at noon and the skate park exhibition at 2 pm. The carnival will open up at 1 pm at Haddad Riverfront Park. The Wheelwash Beer Festival will start at 5:30 pm at 10 Capitol Street, and live music and fireworks will happen throughout the evening at Haddad Riverfront Park. A classic car show and the boat races are scheduled for Saturday. The Sternwheel Regatta runs from June 30 through July 4.
