Several police departments were at the scene of a deadly shooting early Tuesday morning at the Kanawha County and Fayette County line. Montgomery Police Chief Paris Workman said two people were shot and killed after an altercation near the Family Dollar on 2nd Ave. around midnight. Fayette County Sheriff and Kanawha County Sheriff deputies along with Smithers, Pratt and Glasgow police officers were also at the scene, and the investigation is continuing.
