The U.S. Attorney for Northern West Virginia is investigating the Upshur County Schools use of COVID relief money. The state Board of Education notified Bill Ihlenfeld’s office after they reviewed how some of the 16-million dollars was spent. Only a small portion of the records have been reviewed but more than 70-thousand-dollars was spent on food, beverage and retreats for staff.
