West Virginia University is dealing with a budget short fall of $45 million, and there’s no quick fix. Options include laying off faculty and staff, and possibly cutting some programs. Gov. Jim Justice is planning to collaborate with the legislature to examine the state budget surplus to see if sending money to WVU is an option. WVU employees have launched a website to address the issues.
