WVU Medicine is 50-million-dollars closer to gaining a National Cancer Institute designation. Governor Justice presented the check at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital for the WVU Cancer Institute. The designation is the highest federal rating a cancer center can earn. There are over seventy institutions across the country, but none in West Virginia.
