A man accused of forcing access into a Kanawha County residence and battering his ex-girlfriend following a verbal altercation Saturday is facing several charges.
Conner Swartz, of Charleston, has been charged with burglary, domestic battery and unlawful restraint, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. The complaint said Swartz forced himself through a window, pushed a woman to the ground and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming as she was pinned. Swartz is being held on a $500 bail at South Central Regional Jail.
