A man has been taken into custody in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store in Cross Lanes last week. Camri White of Cross Lanes is charged with in connection with a robbery on July 11, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.White is accused of leaving the convenience store with more than $900 and heading toward Washington Street West. The sheriff’s office said it eventually worked with the South Charleston Police Department, which was investigating White in a separate incident, to identify him as a suspect in the robbery.
An investigation into the armed robbery is ongoing.
