The babysitter of a toddler who died last week in Dunbar has been charged. 31-year old Brittany Napier is charged with child neglect causing death in the July 11 death of 2-year-old Za’Khi Williams, according to the Kanawha County Prosecutor’s Office. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said Napier admitted to placing a queen-size mattress over top of a pack-and-play while Williams was inside it. Deputies believe the child was found pinned between the mattress and the top rail of the pack-and-play, which resulted in his death. An ongoing investigation into the case has been turned over to the Kanawha Bureau of Investigation.
