West Virginia leaders are praising a plan to keep the embattled Pleasants Power Station running. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved the sale of the plant to Omnis Fuel Technologies. They will convert the plant from coal-fired to hydrogen. Omnis will have an adjacent plant that produces graphite, and hydrogen is a byproduct of making graphite.
