Police are searching for a man accused of stabbing one person in the abdomen and kicking a woman in the face Thursday morning in Charleston. 39-year old Keith Haynes of Charleston is wanted for malicious wounding and battery, according to a news release from the Charleston Police Department. Haynes was walking in the 800 block of Hanna Drive when he began yelling at Anthony Souvanlasy and Tiffany Light, who were sitting on the porch. When Souvanlasy approached Haynes, police said he was stabbed in the abdomen and Light was kicked in the face as she was trying to intervene. Investigators said they do not know why Haynes began yelling at the couple. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Charleston Police Department at 304-348-8111.
