Some students in Boone County are going electric. The EPA awarded the district a federal grant to purchase three electric school buses for 375-thousand-dollars each plus 20-thousand-dollars for charging infrastructure for each bus. One bus will be used in the Sherman High School district and the other two will be used in the Scott High School district.
