Marshall football violated rules with use of drones during the game

It turns out that drone footage from Marshall’s game against Virginia Tech violated NCAA rules. The Sun Belt Conference on Monday released a statement saying that Marshall had been issued a “public reprimand” by the conference for flying the drone over the field when squad members were present. Marshall University wasn’t the only school to face disciplinary action. James Madison University also received a public reprimand for their in-game use of communication equipment in the team area.
