A three-year-old died at a Huntington hospital after being found in a pool in Lawrence County, Ohio, on Tuesday morning. WCHS says deputies were called to the home after a mother said her three-year-old child had slipped out the front door and was missing. A news release says the child was eventually found in an above-ground pool about a half mile from her home. Deputies said security cameras where the girl was found – showed the child entering the backyard, going up the stairs to the pool, and playing in the water for a few minutes, before she got away from the steps and went underwater. First responders immediately began performing CPR and were able to get water out of the girl’s lungs, but she died.
