A drink that at one time was illegal is now giving Eastern Kentucky’s tourism industry a boost. Eyewitness News said, over the next 2 years the Kentucky Moonshine Trail is getting a total of $300,000 for marketing and promotion. Pauley Hollow Distillery is one place that makes legal moonshine. The Moonshine Trail begins in Lexington with six stops and takes visitors off the beaten path to experience the heritage of moonshine making.
