A suspicious fire is under investigation in Putnam County. The Teays Valley Fire Department responded to the fire Sunday at a mobile home on Linwood Road, and they consider the home to be a total loss. A neighboring home was also damaged, but there were no injuries. 31-year old Dillon Skibbee of Hurricane has been arrested and charged with first-degree arson and felony destruction of property. West Virginia State Police responded too, along with the Nitro, Winfield, Buffalo, Eleanor and Hurricane fire departments. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
