Saturday is National Drug Takeback Day

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is coming up on Saturday, Oct. 28. The West Virginia Attorney General’s Office is partnering with various groups and agencies, including Capitol Police and the state Department of Homeland Security, to have Drug Take Back Day locations across the state. The State Capitol Complex Safe Zone will be collecting expired and unwanted prescriptions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Other collection sites include the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office Elkview Detachment, the Kroger at Ashton Place, the Piggly Wiggly on MacCorkle Avenue Southeast, and the Walgreens on Washington Street West.
