A Fayette County man is facing a felony gun charge, 63-year old James “Jimmy” Kenney is charged with being a prohibited person in possession of firearms, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they, along with members of the Central Regional West Virginia Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence on Arrowwood Creek Road in Hico early Friday morning. Several firearms were found inside the home, and they said further investigation revealed that Kenney, who owns the property and lives there, was a convicted felon. Kenney is awaiting further court dates.
