Crews have been fighting several wildfires and the risk of additional fires remains high because of dry conditions. Current forestry maps show low to moderate fire danger, but the state could move into the high risk area because of dry to moderate drought conditions. There are strict open burning bans already in place during the fall forest fire season per state regulations. Extreme caution is urged.
