Mason County couple is accused of human trafficking

A Mason County couple is accused of taking in vulnerable and unsheltered women and grooming them for sexual activity, according to court records. Timothy Pearson and Kimberly Meadows are accused of preying on drug addicted, homeless women and locking the women in their home, forcing them to watch and participate in sexual acts, removing their ability to have outside communication, kicking them out without their belongings and threatening bodily injury. Investigators said they talked to multiple victims separately who provided matching stories. Pearson and Meadows are each being held on a $150,000 bond.
