A new business has opened in Nitro. A bakery just held its grand opening on Saturday, in in addition to sweet treats the shop plans to offer chances for the community to get involved. The “Bake My Day” store is located on Bank Street in Nitro and sells homemade macarons, cake pops, meringues and locally brewed coffee. The store also plans to host live music performances once a month and give away free books from time to time. They’re accepting book donations now.
