Parts of the Hatfield-McCoy trail system are closed in southern West Virginia due to wildfires. The Buffalo Mountain, Delbarton and Devil Anse Trail 54 are closed until further notice, according to Mingo County Emergency Management. The move comes as dozens of wildfires have been reported across southern West Virginia. Dry weather is expected for much of the area for a remainder of the week. No information was provided on when the trails could reopen.
