A woman is accused of punching a Wayne County deputy in the face after investigators said she was found in a home with a fugitive. Sheriff Rick Thompson said that Brittany Robertson was found inside a home in Prichard with Dennis Ferguson. The sheriff’s office said Ferguson was wanted for two counts of possession with intent to deliver. He said fentanyl and digital scales were also found in the home and that more charges are pending. While attempting to take Ferguson into custody, the sheriff’s office said Robertson failed to follow orders and punched a deputy in the face. Robertson is charged with harboring a fugitive, battery on a police officer and obstructing.
