Charleston man admits to killing a woman and a 10-year old boy

A man has been charged in connection with a double murder investigation in Charleston. Nicholas Hanshaw of Charleston is charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Charleston police said they found the bodies of a woman and 10-year-old boy after the suspect told workers at a local dealership that he needed a car because he’d killed two people. When police arrived at the dealership, they said Hanshaw identified the victims and told them he needed to go pick up their bodies.
Officers arrived at a residence in the 1500 block of Dorchester Road where they found the two victims dead from stab wounds. Anybody with information in the investigation should contact the Charleston Police Department at 304-348-6480 or 304-348-8111.
