The United States Postal Service announced this week that there will be no job losses in connection with a review of the South Charleston Postal Distribution Center. The South Charleston facility employs nearly 800 people, and since last week’s announcement about the review, both local and federal leaders have rallied for keeping jobs, The review is part of a 10-year, $40 billion plan to modernize the aging postal system, and upgrades are possible.
