Two face charges after a high speed chase

Two people were arrested Sunday after leading officers on a high-speed chase. Court documents show Stephanie Green and Dante McCombs face charges in connection with a high-speed pursuit that reached 100 miles per hour along I-64 in South Charleston. Green is accused of driving 80 m.p.h. in a 60 m.p.h. zone, and he accelerated when officers caught up with him at the Westmoreland Exit. The chase ended when Green hit another car and police cruiser at a toll booth on the West Virginia Turnpike. Green and McCombs are both charged with fleeing and interfering with emergency communications. Green is charged with a felony offense of fleeing with reckless indifference.
