After the sudden resignation of Kanawha County Magistrate Mike Ferrell, applications are being accepted to fill the vacancy. According to a release from Kanawha County Circuit Court Chief Judge Maryclaire Akers, resumes and cover letters will be accepted until 4:30 pm today (Wednesday, Jan. 24). Submissions can be sent via email to kim.gregory@courtswv.gov, faxed to 304-357-9577 or delivered directly to Judge Akers office in Charleston at 111 Court Street on the 4th floor.
