Lincoln County Magistrate Kim Clayton resigned this week over what she called “politically motivated” and “unethical” events. She also said they were violations of Judicial Rule.” The former magistrate brought up a request she made for protection that was denied by the Lincoln County Sheriff. In the resignation letter she said she feared for her safety.
