West Virginia University issued a campus-wide warning on Friday following burglary and arson reports at its downtown campus. The suspect or suspects forcefully entered the Life Sciences Building through a faculty member’s office, according to a news release from WVU. University police discovered a tool and burn marks on the door. Also, sometime between last Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning, the same office was broken into with testing materials being stolen from the office. Anyone with information is asked to contact the university police at 203-293-2677 or visit their office on campus.
