A Charleston law office is holding a unique contest for an upcoming holiday, pledging to cover legal fees for an unhappy couple looking to part ways. The Walters Law Firm, located at 16 Capitol Street, is offering a free divorce for Valentine’s Day, according to a news release from the firm. The news release said a winner will be chosen based on stories submitted to the legal team. The firm will be limiting submissions to residents of Boone, Cabell, Clay, Fayette, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Mingo, Nicholas, Putnam and Raleigh counties.
Stories must be submitted via email by Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 5 p.m.
