A man accused in a deadly crash during a police pursuit in Huntington had his preliminary hearing this week and the case will move to a grand jury. Samuel McCoy was in Cabell County court as he faces charges in both Cabell and Wayne counties for a police chase that turned deadly after it reached downtown Huntington last October. The chase went into Cabell County on 5th Street, forcing an officer off the road and eventually striking an SUV. A 16-year-old passenger died from his injuries. Since last fall, otherl victims have come forward claiming injuries and wanting compensation.
