Huntington Food Bank gets over two tons of food from Target

The land slip and building damage at the Target in Barboursville is actually benefiting nearby non-profits. The store has donated nearly three tons of food to the Facing Hunger Food Bank, who in turn sends the items to other agencies. Facing Hunger Food Bank has received about 5500 pounds of food, over two tons. Some of the items donated were dairy products, meats and frozen meals, things the food bank doesn’t normally see, but can put to use. Those who receive food from the food bank will get something a little different this time.
