The former pastor and rector of the Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Charleston passed away this week. Monsignor Edward Sadie died after years of service to the church. A post on the church’s Faceboook page said Monsignor Sadie will be remembered for his commitment to the pastoral needs of the church, and to the community as a whole.
