New bill would help teachers with discipline in the classroom

A bill that would clear the way for West Virginia teachers and staff to remove disruptive students from classrooms passed the Senate on Monday. Senate Bill 614 passed by a 32-1 vote on third reading. The bill would allow teachers as early as elementary school to remove students, if needed. The legislation now goes to the West Virginia House of Delegates for consideration.
