A Nitro woman has died from injuries suffered in November hit-and-run. According to an obituary, 60-year old Terry Smith was hit on Nov. 13 of last year and police found her lying in the roadway along Red Oak Drive and First Avenue South. She was taken to the hospital and treated for multiple broken bones. She died on February 18. Nitro police arrested Donald Milam Jr. on December 31 for leaving the scene of the accident. A GoFundMe has been set up to help Smith’s family.
