A Kanawha City massage parlor could permanently close because of suspected sex trafficking. Thursday, Charleston police raided 5411 Inc. along MacCorkle Avenue. After the search warrant was served, investigators said female employees were found to be offering sex acts for $60 to $200 above the massage fee and advertising on a web site known for prostitution. Eyewitness News said City councilwoman Pam Burka has been dealing with complaints from neighbors since last fall. The building faces a busy section of MacCorkle Avenue, but the business operated on the alley side, closer to homes in the area. Investigators said multiple pieces of evidence were seized during the raid and charges are expected to be filed later.
