Eyewitness News said the group is now taking it a step further by creating a political action committee to help support the progressive candidates they want in office. The PAC’s goal is to raise $200,000 by 2026. The city council originally voted to 20-to-3 to table the resolution. They’ll vote to un-table the resolution at the city council meeting on Feb. 5. If the resolution is un-tabled it could be placed on the next meeting’s agenda on Feb. 19.
