The University of Charleston is competing against West Virginia State University in a “Blood Drive Battle” to help the American Red Cross. Twice a year, the two schools compete to see which school can donate the most blood. UC held a drive on Monday and continues today in the Appalachian Room of the Geary Student Union from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The winner of the battle (based on the number of donors) will be announced at halftime of the UC-State basketball game on Saturday, March 2, at Institute.
