A new solar farm will be built soon in Ohio, despite some resistance. The energy company, Savion, submitted a project application to the Ohio Power Siting Board in 2022 and it will be built on around four thousand acres along State Route 29 in Madison County. Once it’s finished, it will be one of the largest solar farms in the country. The project will feature an array of solar panels ground-mounted on a tracking rack system. Construction is expected to begin in 2025.
