Marshall University announced its Homecoming football game will be held on Oct. 5 as the team faces off against Appalachian State. The Thundering Herd will take on the Mountaineers in their fourth Homecoming matchup, capping off weeklong celebrations will beginning Monday, Sept. 30. Marshall is 28-5 all-time in homecoming games and 9-1 in the last 10 games. The game will also host an alumni and family tailgate.
