The West Virginia Division of Highways saidys road crews patched more than 40,000 potholes in six weeks. Mild weather so far this year helped make for a productive patching seeason and more will be filled soon. The first three months of the year bring the most potholes because of water getting into cracks, freezing and then thawing.
