Years of planning and fundraising are culminating to form a new senior wellness center in Cabell County. Bob Bailey served Cabell County 60 years as sheriff, commissioner, mayor and a city council member. Eyewitness News said Bailey has worked on getting a senior wellness center on 14th Street West – his old stomping grounds – for the past 25 years. The facility has an exercise room, gaming area and a medical clinic. Aside from providing a social outlet, senior centers may help prevent the progression of Alzheimer’s and dementia. The Bob Bailey Senior Wellness Center will be dedicated this morning.
